In the previous post Work At Home Business Secrets Carrie Wilkerson, The Barefoot Executive made some very good points. We must treat our business like a business. We have to be serious about it, not just try to fit it in here and there. If we don’t take it seriously, aren’t devoted to our success, how do we expect t others to take it seriously? Carrie is my mentor for 2010. She has taught me an awful lot. I think it’s important to find a coach or mentor you resonate with and stay with them for a while, rather than flitting from mentor to mentor. That can really create information overload and confusion. My advice is to stop chasing that next “shiny thing” and stick with one trainer for a spell. I am pretty sure I know who next year’s mentor will be already, but I’m not ready to spill the beans just yet. What about you? Who do you resonate with? Who are you learning from? If you are just flitting from flower to flower, maybe you need to land somewhere. I hope this Featured Internet Marketing Expert Series will help you to find that just right coach or mentor you really ‘click” with. Maybe you have a special great mentor and you would like to see him or her as a Featured Internet Marketing Expert here on The Happypreneur Blog, I’d love to hear from you. If you don’t have one yet, maybe you will find him or her right here. Let me know which topics you want to know about and what you need help with. Helping you to jump the hurdles of your new internet business is what this site is all about.
