It just doesn’t work that way. Trust me, I know. I’ve been at this Solopreneur internet thing for a while now and it’s just been in the last year that I’ve really taken flight and soared in my business.
Why did it take me so long if I know as much as I say I do? Because I was afraid to put myself out there. To let you really get to know the real me. To be totally authentic.
You see I was afraid you wouldn’t like me. That I couldn’t live up to your expectations. And honestly, if the expectations I thought you had for me were real, then I couldn’t have.
Confidence. I have lots of it in my abilities online. Heck, I’ve walk through the fire. You can learn a lot from my experience. The problem was, I didn’t have enough confidence in you.
I didn’t think you wanted me warts and all, so I held back, and hid behind my computer screen.
And of course there was that ever lurking faux expert monkey on my back telling me I should hang back.
Any of this ringing any bells for you?
In December 2011, I made the decision that 2012 would the year that I would get over the hump and make myself get out of my comfort zone, really put myself out there.
I got involved in MyNams and attended NAMS 8 Conference in Atlanta this year and met so many awesome people that I now have friendships as well as a working relationships with.
Kelly McCausey is my fantastic coach. She’s helped me take my business to the next level.
Next week Kelly’s Stretch Yourself Challenge gets underway. This challenge will help you get out of your comfort zone, increase your self-confidence and give you a wider circle of influence.
Right now it’s only $17.00 for lifetime access the challenge, but don’t think about it too long, it goes up to $47.00 tomorrow.
Knowing what Kelly has done for me, I really hope you’ll join me in the Stretch Yourself Challenge. It starts next week.
So what do you say? Are you ready to make 2013 the best year ever?
Hope to see you there!
With love and blessings,
