Super Healthy Low Carb Fried Fotatoes

Delicious low carb substitute for fried white potatoes that taste incredible without the all those carbs!

  • 8-10 large radishes for 1 serving or 16-20 for 2 servings. You can also use turnips. They work well too!
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • 1 T butter
  • 2 green onions
  • 2-3 strips crispy bacon crumbled could use real bacon bits
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Thinly slice the radishes. I slice mine the easy way, in my Cuisinart food processor. I've had this processor for about 12 years and seriously don't know what I'd do without it. It works as good today as when I first got it. I use it almost every day. This is the one I have and LOVE!
  2. Heat your pan on medium high heat.
  3. Add the coconut and butter to a non stick frying pan. Mine is a Copper Chef pan and I totally love it.
  4. Add the sliced radishes and green onions. When they are starting to turn brown add the bacon crumbles. As they start to brown, flip them a few times until brown and crispy.
  5. When they are as brown and crispy as you like them, plate, serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Try shredded radishes or shredded turnips instead of sliced for great hash browns too!
