You’ve captured the name and email of your new lead, they are now on your list and a part of your community. Now what?
When learning how to promote affiliate products, your first priority should be to build your list as you promote the product. Then you need to know how to create a squeeze page that gets your prospects interest and attention. Once you have their attention you need a solid relevant giveaway offer to entice your prospect into putting their first name and email address into the opt in box. Now what?
You need to have an auto responder sequence with a service such as Aweber or 1ShoppingCart. Once your prospect signs up for your offer you need a follow up email sequence in place that they will receive immediately after the sign up. If your giveaway was an ecourse, they should receive the first lesson with the next lesson and the next and so on every day or every few days until the course is finished, then you will want to continue sending them good content, updates and tips and links to promote your products. If you used another form of giveaway, such as a report or ebook, then you must send them content rich emails every few days with a link to your affiliate offers. Not every email should be promoting an offer. Tell a story, share your blog post and articles and build a relationship with your list.
The beauty of capturing these leads and building your list as you are marketing affiliate products, is that you will then be able to market and promote to them over and over again!
