Facebook can be an amazing source of leads for your network marketing business if you know the right way to post.
Most people don’t.
Unfortunately, most network marketing companies and upline leaders are still using the same training from a few years ago when they first took their businesses online.
As we all know, things change really quickly on the internet and social media is ever evolving.
When I started my network marketing business 4 years ago I was trained to copy and paste posts and images I found in the back office of my replicated website or on the Facebook pages of more successful leaders in my company. I am a part of a company that believes the more success the company as a whole sees, the more success we will all have.
This holds true as we have an incredible profit sharing plan, so the better Suzy from Omaha does, the higher dollar amount my pay points are worth, regardless of who’s team she is on. Hence the share and share alike culture.
The first couple of years I killed it with this strategy! I’m embarrassed to admit I was posting tons of product photos, testimonials, buy my products, click my links and join my team numerous times a day.
And it flippin’ worked!!
I rank advanced numerous times into the leadership I enjoy today, built an incredible team and have seen great success and freedom because of the way I used to post.
But it couldn’t last…
Because millions and millions of others in the network marketing and direct sales industry started using the same tactics and our Facebook feeds have become inundated with salesy promotional ads of every kind.
UHG! We don’t go to Facebook to be sold to…EVER.
That’s a total turn off. It drives people away instead of attracting them to you.
While we don’t like to be sold we… LOVE do to BUY!!
So How Do You Post The Right Way On Facebook?
Posts that use the principals of Attraction Marketing work crazy good to get you the most laser targeted leads. These are leads that come to you, not you cold messaging and chasing them down.
People who come to you because they want what you’ve got. They want the kind of products you sell and the business opportunity you have to offer.
Beat’s the heck out of beating your friends and family over the head with your business, right?
Now I train my team to build relationships first and to use attraction marketing strategies to pull in leads. It works like butta babeee!
We now create curiosity and mystery in our posts that draws people in and makes them ask us to tell them more.
All without EVER mentioning our company, product names or outright asking people to join our team.
Instead of posting a picture of my products, I say something like…
“Lost 10 pounds this month! I can tie my shoes without getting out of breath. My knees don’t hurt anymore. This stuff is amazing and I feel so good. Happy dance goin on at my house!” Then I might take a pic of me tying my shoes or dancing.
You see the difference? You are not shoving products in their faces and saying “You need my products! Buy My products!”
You are not cold messaging people who could give a rats patootie about your products or your opportunity.
You are creating curiosity.
You are pulling in the exact people who are interested in losing weight and feeling better.
People are just naturally curious (or nosy) creatures. We want to know what you are doing. We don’t want to be left out.
Before you know it you will be getting questions in the comments and private messages in your inbox.
This is as targeted a lead as you can get…and they came to you!
An important note – when they start asking you questions, this is the time to take it to a private message, text, a phone call or video chat (Messenger or Zoom.us)
Don’t answer them in the comments of your post. If you start talking about your products in the comments you’ve defeated the purpose. There may be several others who also are curious to know the details but have no need to ask because you already answered their questions.
This is the way to LOSE tons of great leads, so don’t do it!
Aside from posting on your personal profile, you could start a business page and utilize attraction marketing strategies there as well.
