Happy 4th of July!
We have a couple of big shindigs to go to today. This always means lots of food and fun. First, the family will be headed to a noon barbeque and pool party with about an hour away. Then we will be coming back to our neck of the woods to my sister’s house for a HUGE pot luck dinner and fireworks. She lives out in the country in a wonderful old farmhouse on several acres. The house sits up on a hill where the breeze keeps us cool on even the warmest of 4th of Julys.
My sister and brother in-law have been hosting these Independence Day celebrations for the past 25 years. Usually there are between 50 – 75 people there enjoy the great food and fabulous fireworks. My bro in-law and nephews have the fireworks down to a science. The display is as good as any you will see at most small town fireworks displays. It’s pretty amazing!
I’m proud to wave our flag today, proud to be an American, and so blessed to live in the USA. I thank God every day for my family, health, and business and that I live in a free country where I am have “ the pursuit of happiness” clause built right into the constitution. What makes me happy is my lifestyle. I didn’t have to worry that I had to go to a J-O-B somewhere today and miss all the fun with my family and friends, because I get to call the shots.
Yesterday, I spent the day doing a little food prep for today, then I putzed around the house getting things in order (cramming things in closets, throwing things on the bed and closing the door, you know, cleaning… ;^) getting ready for an appointment with a local client that was coming by to learn how to maintain the WordPress blog she paid me top dollar to build for her.
WordPress has been responsible for so much my business success. It enables me to have total control over my business by having control over my website which is the hub of my business. It also provides income in a variety of ways. It houses my sales pages, products, shopping cart and payment system. WordPress also gives me a good stream of income because I set up blogs and sites for other people and get paid handsomely for it.
That might lead you to believe I’m a technology geek. But I’m not. I’ve built my coaching business on how to do the back end online business stuff the easy way. If there is a back door that makes things less techie, I’m gonna find and use it. That’s why I love WordPress so very much. It’s non-techie. It’s easy to learn and use.
Are you using WordPress? Do you know how to build a website? Can you maintain you own without help? If you are in business online, don’t you think you should? Are you making the kind of money you want to yet? If not, WordPress can help you make it possible. Building blogs for others has been a financial blessing for me as my business grew. It has been a key element to my success in many ways.
