Have you thought about being an internet entrepreneur? Since you are reading this, you probably have some interest in hearing about digital business. I bet you have some questions because the lure of being independent in a virtual business is great. Perhaps creating your own hours and being your own boss has captured your imagination.
On the other hand you may be thinking, ‘Oh, I can’t do that, there’s so much to learn!” There’s a website to setup and you are bewildered with that idea. Then there’s blogging – you’ve heard you need to do it, but you’re not a writer and you’re wondering what you’ll write. Also, you’ve heard that social media is an important part of becoming a successful internet entrepreneur. And the email lists, well that is something new for you which sounds a bit daunting. All this sounds like an overwhelming process.
If your imagination is still sparked by the idea of having a virtual business after considering all that, you have an internet entrepreneur’s spirit!
So, what path you do you want to take? There are many online roads to go down.
- You could start a virtual business with affiliate marketing, selling for somebody else and you would receive a percentage of the sale. There are different categories to market, such as digital and physical products, software, or services. It’s your choice, the list is endless.
- Another type of online marketing is to sell items from your own website. You could set up a blog using WordPress. Some have found much success in this strategy.
- While others have created their own digital info products and have complete control over the process. Some have created software, an ebook, an audio or a video. The great feature about these products is you don’t have to be concerned with shipping. This can be done by email or from your website.
Do you still have that spark in your brain about being an internet entrepreneur? I think I hear the wheels turning.
For me to get past those obstacles while keeping the imagination alive, Celene is great helping me with my blog, website, social media, and my email lists.
I wish you luck in whatever direction you choose!
