Yes those are pretty big words, but oh so true! If you are not creating momentum in your network marketing business…
You. Are. Toast.
When I first got into the network marketing company I am now with, I rank advanced very quickly. I had some major momentum going and my team followed suit. They were doing what I did.
When I got to a certain level with hundreds of downline I went into management mode thinking I was helping my team.
That’s sure death for a leader in this industry!
I learned the hard way that if you don’t keep the momentum going your business craps out. My team quit prospecting, recruiting and marketing just like I did.
They were following my lead and by being what I thought was a good manager, I became a terrible leader.
So, how do you keep the momentum going and still lead and manage your team?
Do trainings, record them and share the recordings as part of the training process. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time you sponsor a new distributor.
This way you can continue to reach out to people to get new customers and build your team.
Then teach them to do the same.
How do you create momentum in the first place?
That totally depends on how you are growing your business. Are you building it the traditional way or on the internet using automation?
If you are a traditional network marketer you should be working your warm market list. Add to it daily. Decide how many calls, texts, messages etc you are going to commit to every day. How much time are you going to work your business, then stick to it.
Send samples, catalogs, get people to events, get eyeballs on your presentation, book parties if you are a home party company.
If you are a network marketer who build your business primarily online like me, you’ll generate leads using social media, automated lead funnels, email marketing, Facebook ads, etc.
Either way you need to have a plan and be consistent with your marketing.
Consistency is the key to momentum. Period.
