I was taught that you should always build opt in offers and your giveaway pages on a WordPress blog with nothing else on it.  I came across a very successful internet marketer the other day that is putting everything in his blog and it seems to be working like magic for him.  I don’t want to find out I’m doing this all wrong down the road.  What the heck is the right way and why?

Question:

I keep hearing that I should do Article Marketing, but I’m not sure it’s for me.  Do you do Article Marketing?  What’s your opinion? Do you think this is something that will benefit me?  It just seems like a lot of work.

 Answer:

Hi Leslie.  That’s a really great question (or questions).  Writing articles can seen like a lot of effort in the beginning, but it’s a wonderful way to polish up on your writing skills.  The more you write the better you get and the easier it becomes. And let’s face it, there is a lot of writing to do in online marketing such as blog posts, reports, sales letters and so on.

Yes, I use Article Marketing as part of my marketing mix.  I believe wholeheartedly in it for many reasons.  From link juice, to list building, to content creation and much more!  Here’s an article that I wrote about this very subject.  Maybe it will answer some of your questions about the benefits of Article Marketing.  I also included this Article Marketing post last Thursday about re-purposing content that will show you what you can do with your articles besides submitting them to directories.

Why not give it a try?  Who knows, you may just discover you are quite the writer!  I’ll be interested to know what you think when you’ve written a few and given it a try.  Good luck!
