I have a confession to make. Life got in my way for a few months.  That’s the blessing and the curse of working for yourself from home. I feel extremely blessed that God has enabled me to be able to work from my computer anywhere I am. It’s a dream come true for me. This allows me to help my single daughter raise her son. I didn’t have that luxury when I was a single mom and she paid for it.  Now my lil’ guy Caleb doesn’t have to because I am able to work my schedule around his needs. I also feel very blessed to be able to care for my aging mom at this time in her life. I wouldn’t be able to do much of either if I worked outside the home for someone else. Continue reading →

Pinterest Schminterest – Just Another Social Networking Site?

What the heck is Pinterest anyway?

Several weeks ago, my daughter called me all excited about some new site she had been invited to called Pinterest. She wanted to know if I was using it and if not, did I want an invitation?
 
I said no to both.  Who he heck needs another social networking site, anyway? I’ve got my hands full with  Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.  Also this sounded like the kind of
social network that’s only good for trading recipes,  showing off your wedding plans and

Dell Hell – Can Your Online Business Take The Heat?
